atheism is dangerous???

Democrat (although in this case it would probably hardly matter...) Monique Davis lays into an atheist activist. Saying:

"It’s dangerous to the progression of this state. And it’s dangerous for our children to even know that your philosophy exists!"

Atheism is not dangerous for this state. Ignorant outbursts from stupid politicians are however. Children should be learning FACTS in school. There is a religious group known as Christians... here is what they believe. There is a religious group called Muslims... here is what they believe. And Buddhists, and Hindus, and on and on and on... Some people choose not to believe in a religion... they are called atheists... and on and on and on...

See, that wasn't too bad. In fact, students may find it fascinating that human beings have so many belief systems... imagine that... kids being stimulated by learning NEW things about this world. We live in an ever-shrinking world, lets expand our educational horizon - I think that we all could learn something.
