"the odds of me getting elected have always been lower than some of the other conventional candidates" -Obama

Excuse me? A woman counts as a "conventional" candidate? The last time I checked this county hasn't had a female President either. You aren't so special.

And the pastor issue... It doesn't make any difference to me whether Obama denounces his former pastor and never speaks to him again, the fact of the matter is that Obama sat through all of those hate filled, racist speeches since he began attending that church. If he really thought those sermons were bad he would have gotten up and left and never returned to that church. His little speech on racism was a little after the fact.

Actions speak louder than words Mr. Obama; your actions (by remaining a member that church and friends with that minister) suggest that you find nothing wrong with such ideas.

I belonged to the United Church of Christ my whole life. When they started getting radical nearly 3 years ago, proclaiming that same-sex marriage was ok to perform at the same altar my husband and I were married at; and, when their hatred of Israel was clear, and that they supported terrorist activity, both in Palestine and the United States, Supporting FALN terrorist, Alejandrina Torres: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzRnhygO-Vg.... we quit the church.

We were also told from the pulpit, by the UCC President, John Thomas, that if we did not go along with the radical direction of the UCC we were bigots. So there you have it. Obama, if you did not agree with the radical rantings of your pastor, and I'm thinking, most people think you do --- it wouldn't be that hard to quit the church, or at the very least, point out your pastor's anti-American rantings, and that you disagree with your rev's rantings. But you were silent. And weak.... so very, very weak.
