There was a kind of group mentality, like we were all in this together: 3am in the library finishing the paper that's due at 9, cramming for finals, lame professors, filthy dorms, dollar beer night because that's all that's usually in our pockets... it was a good feeling.
What's to make us feel safe when it's our own that's doing the killing?

We should be sticking together.
rip.

You know you've entered the adult world when these things really shake you up! There may not be "safety" as you once thought there was when you were a child. You have to turn inward sometimes, to your innner and core strengths. But you also have to know how to entertain yourself so that you can "escape" the bad stuff of the world when you need to. Know, and get access to, good music, a beautiful picture or scene, an exhilirating hobby. Then you can deal with life a little better.
